The surgery is closed one afternoon per month for ‘Protected Learning Time’ for all doctors and staff. This is advertised in advance on display notices around the practice.

Out of Hours Service

Between 18:30 and 08:00, Monday to Friday, and all day at weekends and on Bank Holidays your call will be redirected to the NHS 111 service.

Enhanced Access

Different clinician appointments are available to 8pm Monday –Friday and 9am-5pm on Saturday.

Attend the Corby Urgent Care Centre which is open every day of the year from 08:00-20:00 at the Willowbrook Health Complex, Cottingham Road, Corby, NN17 2UR.

Accident and Emergency Department

Kettering General Hospitals Accident and Emergency Department is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. If you or someone else is in a critical or life threatening situation then go to your nearest accident and emergency department or call 999.

Visit your Pharmacy

Pharmacists (chemists) are a great source of health care service advice and information.

They are experts in medicines and how medicines work. They can help you decide if you need to see a doctor.

You can talk to them in confidence – even about the most personal symptoms – and you don’t need to make an appointment. Many also offer services such as stop smoking support and health checks.

They can help with issues like:

• Dispensing medicines – and how to use them safely, as well as getting rid of old or out of date medicine.
• Emergency hormonal contraception, or ‘the morning after pill’ is available at your local pharmacist.
• Minor ailments – a pharmacist can help with prescription treatments for conjunctivitis, cystitis, impetigo and more without you needing to see your doctor.
• The right type of cough and flu remedies for you and your family.
