What is Freedom of Information?

The Freedom of Information Act 2000 gives you the right to request information held by public authorities, including GP practices. This act promotes transparency and accountability in public healthcare services.

Our Publication Scheme

As required by the Act, we have developed a publication scheme that outlines the types of information we routinely make available.

Our publication scheme covers various classes of information, including:

  • Our services
  • Financial information
  • Policies and procedures

How to Make a Freedom of Information (FOI) Request

  • Check if the information is already available in our publication scheme
  • If not, submit a written request (email or letter) describing the information you need
  • We will respond within 20 working days
