Travel vaccinations

Planning to travel? It’s important to ensure you are protected against diseases that are more common in certain parts of the world. Linden Medical Group offers NHS travel vaccinations and general travel advice. Some vaccinations require a course and can take time to become effective, so it’s recommended to seek an appointment at least 8 to 10 weeks before you travel.

  • Travel vaccination appointments: fill out a travel form (PDF) and return it to the practice. One of our practice nurses will contact you to arrange an appointment if needed
  • Non-NHS travel vaccinations: For vaccines not covered by the NHS, such as yellow fever, please seek advice from a major travel centre

By staying informed and up-to-date with your vaccinations, you can protect yourself and others from preventable diseases. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please contact us.

Hepatitis B vaccinations

Please note that our practice does not provide Hepatitis B vaccinations for occupational health purposes. You should contact your employer to obtain details of the arrangements they have in place for this vaccination.
